Every format your library contains.

From decades-old JPEGs to the latest RAW files off a modern mirrorless camera, Live Gallery reads them all natively, no conversion required.

A real photo library isn't one format.

Twenty years of photos means twenty years of formats. Old point-and-shoot JPEGs sit alongside phone HEIC files, RAW captures from a proper camera, PNGs from screenshots and edits, maybe the odd TIFF or BMP from further back than that.

Most photo managers handle two or three formats well and struggle with the rest. Live Gallery was built to handle a real library exactly as it exists, without asking you to convert anything first.

One library, every format, no sorting required.

You don't need to separate your RAW files from your JPEGs, or move your HEIC photos into a different folder before Live Gallery will recognise them.

Point it at your existing folder structure, whatever mix of formats it contains, and everything gets catalogued together, searchable and organised as one library.

What Live Gallery reads natively

RAW formats
Support for RAW files from major camera manufacturers, viewed and catalogued natively without needing a separate converter.

HEIC / HEIF
Full support for the format used by modern iPhones and many Android devices. View and organise HEIC photos alongside everything else in your library, no conversion step required.

JPEG
The most common photo format in the world, fully supported, from any device or camera, any age.

PNG
Screenshots, edited images, transparent graphics, all handled natively.

WebP
Increasingly common from modern devices and downloads, fully supported.

BMP
Older format, still found in older archives and scanned images. Fully readable.

TIFF
Common in higher-quality scans and some professional workflows. Supported.

Serious cataloguing without the cloud push.

True RAW support

Browse and organise RAW files alongside other formats.

Your library only grows. Live Gallery is built to grow with it.

Find every photo of someone specific in seconds.

Built for scale
Local face recognition
Being upfront about current gaps.

Live Gallery is in active beta. A small number of niche or manufacturer-specific formats aren't yet supported.

If you're working with a format you don't see listed above and it matters to your library, tell us, format support is directly prioritised based on what beta users actually need.

Where things stand right now.

Live Gallery is currently in free public beta, capped at 5,000 images while performance and stability are refined ahead of full release. For photographer-sized libraries well beyond that cap, we'd love to hear from you directly, your feedback is directly shaping what the next tier looks like.
